EastEnders' Denise Fox diagnosed with blood cancer as Libby Fox returns

The BBC soap EastEnders is set to see the return of Libby Fox (played by Belinda Owusu) after a nine‑year absence. Libby comes back to Albert Square to support her mother, Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia.

Denise initially hides her illness, but after a family gathering at The Vic the diagnosis is revealed and she begins treatment.
