Eastern European artists showcase culture through exhibitions in Germany and Italy

Various Eastern European artists are expanding their cultural reach through international exhibitions and public art projects.

In Germany, Sergiu Cristian Ianza and the Ianza-Art Inter-Cultural Foundation will host an exhibition in Kleinvichtach on October 26, 2026. The showcase, titled ‘ARTWORKS BY CRISTIAN IANZA AND 30 ROMANIAN ARTIST FRIENDS’, will feature paintings, graphics, and sculptures from a collection of 30 Romanian artists, many from the Jiu Valley region.

In Italy, Moldovan artist Radu Dumbrava has inaugurated a mural titled ‘HORA’ in the town of Aielli, located in the Abruzzo region. The street art piece, which depicts six dancers performing a traditional dance, is part of an international project featuring over 60 works. The mural incorporates Moldovan symbols, such as vineyards and wine barrels, to create a cultural bridge between Moldova and Italy.
