Eastern Kentucky University begins United Athletic Conference play

Eastern Kentucky University is set to begin United Athletic Conference play in football this Saturday against North Alabama at CG Bank Field at Roy Kidd Stadium. The event serves as a championship reunion weekend, honoring members of the university’s 1979 and 1982 NCAA I-AA national championship teams, as well as the 1980 and 1981 runner-up squads.

In volleyball, Tarleton State University will face Eastern Kentucky at Baptist Health Arena on Thursday.
