Eastern Mediterranean University pharmacy programs receive international accreditation

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has received five-year international accreditation for three of its programs from the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS).

The accredited programs include the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), and the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Dean Prof. Dr. H. Ozan Gülcan noted that the faculty is the only pharmacy school in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to hold accreditation from both the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the AHPGS. EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that this achievement reflects the university’s commitment to international quality standards as part of its 2030 vision.
