Eastern Mediterranean University and KTGB sign educational cooperation protocol

The Cyprus Turkish Journalists Union (KTGB) and Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) have signed a cooperation protocol to provide educational support to journalists and their families. Under the agreement, members and their families can receive tuition discounts of up to 50% for various programs. Specifically, TR or TRNC nationals who enroll via the YKS exam can see scholarship rates increase from 50% to 75%. The protocol also aims to facilitate internships for EMU students and prioritize graduates for employment opportunities within KTGB and related institutions.

Separately, SOS Children's Villages has launched the ‘Sen Oku Yeter’ donation campaign to support 151 children and youths in their care for the upcoming academic year. The initiative seeks to cover essential needs including school uniforms, stationery, educational tools, and transportation to ensure students can begin their studies without hardship.
