Eastern Oregon has claimed the No. 1 spot in the first regular-season Coaches’ Top 25 Poll for women's volleyball, receiving 17 of the 18 first-place votes. The Mountaineers began their 2026 campaign with an undefeated 11-0 record.

Northwestern (Iowa) follows in the second position after a loss to Eastern Oregon. Concordia (Neb.) remained steady in its preseason ranking. The current Top 10 rankings feature teams from seven different conferences, including the Cascade Collegiate Conference and the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
