Eastern Poland launches tourism voucher programs

New regional tourism voucher programs are launching in eastern Poland to support the tourism industry in border regions affected by geopolitical tensions. The initiative, co-funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, aims to promote these areas as safe and attractive destinations.

In the Podlaskie Voivodeship, the Podlaskie Tourist Voucher program will allow residents to apply for a 300 PLN subsidy for stays of at least two nights. The program has a budget of 800,000 PLN, with over 400 participating facilities. Applications for this round open on October 1, and vouchers can be used between October 2 and October 31.

Similarly, the Warmian-Masurian Regional Tourism Organization is launching its program with the first round of applications starting September 30. This program, which has a total budget of approximately 4 million PLN, will be conducted in three stages. The vouchers are provided as electronic codes for stays of at least two nights and must be booked directly with participating accommodation providers.
