Eastern Province Governor reviews university readiness for 1448H academic year

Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Province, met with the presidents of public universities in the region to review preparations for the upcoming 1448H academic year. The Governor emphasized that the education sector receives significant support from the leadership and highlighted the international achievements of local youth as evidence of high-quality educational outcomes.

Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University reported that it has completed its readiness requirements, welcoming 5,780 new students (1,760 males and 4,020 females). The university's academic medical city has also finalized preparations for clinical training environments.

King Faisal University confirmed its readiness to host approximately 40,000 students across undergraduate, diploma, and graduate programs. Additionally, the University of Hafr Al-Batin has completed its academic, operational, and digital preparations to support more than 5,000 newly admitted students.
