Eastern Province Municipality unveils sports park investment opportunities

The Eastern Province Municipality, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Ministry of Sport, has identified significant investment opportunities in the development of sports parks.

A recent workshop titled ‘Investment in Sports Parks and Enhancing Sustainability’ highlighted the growing demand for sports activities and facilities in the Eastern Province. Data presented by the Ministry of Sport indicated that the region holds the highest number of registered players, underscoring the potential for economic viability and social impact through private sector participation.

The initiative aims to leverage municipal assets to improve quality of life, enhance operational efficiency, and create integrated destinations that combine sports, entertainment, and community services.
