Eastern Suburbs Director of Rugby and first grade coach Dan England noted that the team must maintain high intensity for the full 80 minutes to avoid repeating previous mistakes where large leads were surrendered. England emphasized the need for greater efficiency in the A zone and improved performance at the set piece to counter Sydney University's ability to capitalize on turnovers.
