Eastern Washington Eagles prepare for Week 3 matchup at Husky Stadium

The Eastern Washington Eagles are preparing to face the Huskies at Husky Stadium in Week 3. Head coach Aaron Best is entering his tenth year leading the program, seeking to replicate the championship-level success seen during the tenure of his predecessor, Beau Baldwin.

Analysts note that while the team saw significant success with former quarterback Eric Barriere, recent recruiting cycles were impacted by COVID-19. However, recruiting efforts have reportedly improved in recent years. The Eagles' offense, coordinated by Marc Anderson, features quarterback Nate Bell, who has recorded 781 yards and six touchdowns through three contests. Bell has shown development in his ability to escape the pocket and progress through reads.
