easyJet announces 18 new UK routes for summer 2027

easyJet has announced the launch of 18 new routes from 10 United Kingdom airports for the summer 2027 season. The expansion aims to increase connectivity to various European destinations, including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Bulgaria.

A key highlight of this expansion is the introduction of direct flights to Girona, Spain, marking the first time the destination will be served directly from the UK. The airline will operate routes from Liverpool starting March 28, 2027, with two weekly frequencies, and from London Gatwick starting June 3, 2027, with three weekly frequencies. easyJet expects to provide approximately 17,000 additional seats through these new connections.

The airline is also strengthening its presence in Scotland with two new routes from Aberdeen and four from Edinburgh. easyJet noted that it will be the sole carrier offering direct connections on 10 of these newly announced routes.
