EasyJet France flight crews issue strike notice covering August to early September

Three French flight‑attendant and steward unions – SNPNC‑FO, UNAC‑CFE‑CGC and UNPNC‑CFDT – have filed a strike notice for EasyJet France covering the period from 7 August to 2 September. The notice is deliberately open‑ended, with any key mobilisation dates to be announced 48 hours in advance. The unions cite a "continuous degradation" of working conditions, including chronic schedule instability, last‑minute changes, forced multi‑day tripping, penalising rotations and a total lack of protective measures. They say management has failed to provide concrete responses despite alerts for about a year. A previous one‑day strike on Easter Monday in April caused only limited disruption. EasyJet, the second‑largest airline in France after Air France, operates mainly short‑ and medium‑haul routes from bases in Paris, Lyon and Nice and employs several thousand staff, moving millions of passengers each year. The announced strike could affect flights throughout August and the start of the school year in September.
