easyJet passengers removed from Cyprus-UK flight for vaping

Four British passengers were removed from an easyJet flight from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Birmingham, UK, following reports of disruptive behavior involving electronic cigarettes. The incident occurred during flight EZY6610 on September 16.

According to passenger Annalise Galstaun, who filmed the event, the group—consisting of three women and one man—repeatedly ignored warnings from cabin crew to stop vaping. Witnesses reported that the passengers attempted to hide their devices to continue using them during the five-hour flight, causing distress to other travelers and children.

Upon arrival in Birmingham, police met the aircraft and escorted the four individuals off the plane. The intervention caused a delay of approximately 20 to 25 minutes on the ground. easyJet confirmed the police involvement, stating they do not tolerate disruptive behavior and prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers and crew.
