easyJet to cover costs of first baby passports
easyJet and easyJet holidays have announced an initiative to cover the £66.50 cost of a baby’s first passport. To qualify for the reimbursement, parents must book an easyJet holiday.
The move follows research conducted by the airline and tour operator, which indicated that 36% of parents view newborn passports as a significant hurdle when planning holidays. Additionally, the study found that 10% of parents were unaware that infants require their own separate passports.
To assist with the transition to traveling with young children, easyJet has partnered with the Peppa Pig brand to release digital content. This includes a video on the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Parenting YouTube channel featuring Captain Kate West, providing practical advice on topics such as capturing approved passport photos for infants.
