Eav administrator announces restructuring and security upgrades

Pietro Diamantini, the sole administrator of Eav, has initiated a series of organizational reforms for the regional public transport company managing the Circumvesuviana, Cumana, and Circumflegrea lines in Campania.

Key structural changes include the dissolution of the Central Operational Directorate and the creation of a ‘CEO Office’ led by Stefania De Cato. This new unit is tasked with providing strategic and operational support to the administrator, monitoring company initiatives, and coordinating with institutional stakeholders such as the Campania Region. Additionally, technical managers will now be on call from 5:00 to 23:00.

Regarding service improvements, Diamantini announced increased investments in security and security personnel for trains, stations, and maintenance sites starting in September. The company is also working to accelerate the deployment of new trains and plans to update the Naples-Sorrento line schedule in the coming months. Efforts are also underway to address infrastructure issues, specifically regarding damaged tunnels on the Flegrea line.
