Łeba to host a new multimedia exhibition on Baltic Sea relations

The National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk has signed a contract to create a new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Underwater Archaeology and Baltic Fisheries in Łeba. The project will combine unique historical artifacts with modern multimedia arrangements.

The exhibition is designed as a multi-threaded narrative covering four main areas: underwater archaeology, Baltic fisheries, maritime rescue, and the development of offshore wind farms. Highlights include shipwrecks from the Puck Bay, artifacts related to Slavic and Scandinavian seafaring, and a 25-meter steel fishing cutter.

While the full project implementation is scheduled to continue until June 30, 2028, the first visitors are expected to be able to view the new exhibition by the end of 2027.
