EBAC announces energy and fuel bonuses for Calabria artisans
The Ente Bilaterale Artigianato Calabria (EBAC) has announced two financial aid measures to support local craft businesses and workers facing rising energy and fuel costs.
The initiative includes a 200 euro energy bonus for 100 registered craft enterprises and a 250 euro fuel bonus for 320 low-income workers. EBAC President Francesco Pellegrini stated that the measures aim to provide relief to entrepreneurs facing shrinking profit margins and workers struggling with the high cost of diesel.
Vice President Benedetto Cassala noted that the process is designed to be low-bureaucracy, with disbursements expected to begin in December. Director Andrea Monteleone reported that EBAC currently represents approximately 3,000 companies and 9,000 workers in the region.
