Ebara Food and Tokuzomaru launch concentrated sauce in Shizuoka

Ebara Food Industry and Tokuzomaru have co-developed a concentrated sauce designed to replicate the traditional taste of Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) simmered dishes from Inatori, Izu, at home.

The product, titled “Tokuzomaru Supervision Secret Simmering Sauce,” was released in a pre-launch phase in Shizuoka Prefecture starting September 10, 2026. The sauce is a concentrated formula intended to be mixed with water at a 1:1 ratio, making it suitable for simmering fish, meat, or various seasonal vegetables.

Tokuzomaru, a company founded in 1926 in Izu Inatori, aims to use this collaboration to promote gastro-tourism and preserve local culinary traditions. By making the regional flavor accessible to households, the companies hope to encourage interest in the Izu area and drive future visits to the region.
