eBay partners with CFDA for NYFW live shopping event

eBay is partnering with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and The NY Archive to host a live-streamed fashion retrospective during New York Fashion Week. The event, titled “Endless Runway: The Archive,” aims to showcase archival pieces from prominent American and international designers.

Viewers will be able to participate in real-time bidding and instant purchases via eBay Live. The collection features a variety of rare and maximalist designer looks, including archival pieces from brands such as Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Dior, and Prada.

The event will utilize The NY Archive’s New York City showroom as an immersive production space, transforming the headquarters into a runway to bridge the gap between traditional fashion distribution and digital e-commerce.
