Ebbinghausen community centre bar inaugurated with public ceremony

On Saturday, 15 March 2025, the Ebbinghausen support association opened the new bar in the community house “Brinkweiden”. The venue, considered the village living room, was formally inaugurated before a crowd of residents, parish guests, members of local shooting clubs and the Ortsvorsteher of Horn parish.

Chairman Harald Jackisch thanked contributors, noting that the state of North Rhine‑Westphalia provided more than €30,000 in funding while the association covered the remaining costs. Volunteers also helped with the renovation. After the opening remarks, the bar was highlighted with a keg of free beer, showcasing its indirect lighting, quality materials and warm wooden surfaces. The community house is now available for private events, with further details on the association’s website.
