EBC expands partnership with Rádio Timbira to boost Maranhão content

The Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) is expanding its partnership with Rádio Timbira to increase the presence of Maranhão's content within the national radio network. During a visit to the station's headquarters in São Luís, EBC Director-General Thiago Regotto met with local leadership to discuss strengthening the exchange of journalistic, educational, and informative content.

The partnership, which began in 2023, aims to increase the flow of information by allowing Rádio Timbira to send more materials regarding Maranhão to the Rádio Nacional and other stations in the network. The collaboration also includes the joint production of programs and content. The visit highlighted the station's recent modernization, including its transition from medium wave to FM frequencies and increased investment in digital platforms.
