EBC journalists recognized in Einstein +Admirados awards

Four journalists from Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) and the Agência Brasil news agency have been named finalists in the 2026 Einstein +Admirados Awards for Health, Science, and Well-being journalism. Agência Brasil was recognized as one of the three most admired news agencies in Brazil, alongside Agência da Fiocruz and Agência Fapesp.

Among the top 25 most admired professionals are reporters Tâmara Freire and Paula Laboissière from Agência Brasil, and Patrícia Serrão from Radioagência. Additionally, Paula Laboissière and Raíssa Saraiva were named among the three most admired journalists in the Central-West region.

The awards, organized by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in partnership with Jornalistas&Cia and Portal dos Jornalistas, celebrate excellence in communicating scientific and health information. This edition saw significant female representation, with women securing 83% of the 36 total nominations. The award ceremony is scheduled for November 17 in São Paulo.
