Ebenezer Annan joins Rapid Bucharest on loan from Saint-Etienne

Rapid Bucharest has completed the transfer of 24-year-old Ghanaian left-back Ebenezer Annan from Saint-Etienne on a loan deal with an option to buy. Annan, who has a market value of approximately 1.8 million euros, arrives to replace Andrei Borza.

Annan's recent career has involved several rapid movements across different leagues. Following stints in Italy and Serbia, he played for Red Star Belgrade before moving to France. In his first official interview since arriving in Romania, Annan expressed that the club's organization and the passion of the supporters were key factors in his decision to sign. He noted that while he was not deeply familiar with the Romanian championship, he was impressed by the atmosphere and the city.
