Eberbach school suffers significant damage from container fire

A trash container fire at a school in Eberbach has caused significant damage, with authorities estimating losses in the low six-figure range. The fire, which occurred on a Saturday evening, resulted in the complete destruction of the container and caused soot and flame damage to the school building's facade. Smoke and the smell of fire also spread throughout the interior of the facility.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and ventilated the building. Investigators are currently looking into how smoke entered the structure, noting that small cracks or ventilation shafts may have played a role.
