EBG Group announces Tarzan Jungle Cafe expansion plan

EBG Group, a diversified Indian enterprise, has unveiled Tarzan Jungle Cafe, a nature-inspired experiential dining concept. The group aims to open more than 100 cafes across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India over the next three years.

The first flagship cafe is scheduled to open in Hyderabad by March 2027, with an initial investment of over ₹2 crore. Following this, the company plans a phased expansion into Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and other major cities. EBG Group has set a capital expenditure of ₹40 crore for its first 20 flagship stores.

The brand will utilize a ‘Know Your Source’ approach, focusing on a sourcing network that prioritizes fresh produce, grains, dairy, and proteins from identified farms and approved partners. The company intends to eventually implement digital provenance for selected ingredients to allow customers to track food origins. The rollout will involve a combination of company-operated flagship locations and a structured franchise model.
