Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru honored by Ishiagu community

The Ishiagu community in the Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State recently held its maiden Ishiagu Day and Hall of Fame celebration. During the event, the community conferred the Grand Generational Doyen of Community Development award upon Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru and former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim.

The awards were presented in recognition of their contributions to regional development and the restoration of peace within the community. Senator Anyim praised Governor Nwifuru for his leadership and his success in implementing vital projects and maintaining stability in the area.

Additionally, the Ishiagu community officially endorsed Governor Nwifuru as their sole candidate for a second term in the 2027 general elections. Represented by Deputy Governor Patricia Obila, Nwifuru expressed gratitude for the endorsement and pledged that a second term would bring further infrastructural investment and developmental dividends to the community.
