Ebroacero acquires FTR to expand iron and stainless steel casting

The Zaragoza-based company Ebroacero has acquired FTR, a firm located in Torrijos, Toledo, that specializes in manufacturing iron casting parts. This acquisition is a strategic move to expand Ebroacero's industrial capabilities and product range.

Through this operation, Ebroacero aims to incorporate new materials, specifically iron, alloyed iron, and stainless steel. While Ebroacero currently specializes in large carbon steel components, the acquisition of FTR's facilities provides the necessary space to launch a future stainless steel casting line.

FTR will continue to operate independently under its own brand, maintaining its identity and 20 years of experience. The two companies will share technical, commercial, and administrative resources to leverage existing client relationships and complementary expertise.
