EC Bahia confirms injuries to Ademir and Everton Ribeiro

EC Bahia has confirmed several injuries to key players ahead of their upcoming Campeonato Brasileiro fixtures. Forward Ademir has been diagnosed with a muscle strain in his left thigh adductor, which will sideline him for the match against Chapecoense and the Ba-Vi derby on August 25. He is expected to return in early September against Bragantino.

Midfielder Everton Ribeiro is undergoing special physical and technical training to recover from chronic lower back pain following a medical procedure in São Paulo. While he has returned to field activities, he remains unavailable for the match in Chapecó on August 16. Additionally, Luciano Juba is being treated for a right ankle injury, and Léo Vieira continues recovery from a complete patellar tendon rupture.

In response to these absences, coach Rogério Ceni has been conducting tactical adjustments and technical drills at the CT Evaristo de Macedo to prepare the squad for their next Serie A commitment.
