EC KAC to host EC Red Bull Salzburg in ICE Hockey League matchup

EC KAC is set to host EC Red Bull Salzburg in the win2day ICE Hockey League this Sunday at the Heidi Horten-Arena in Klagenfurt. The match follows a recent 5-4 penalty shootout victory for KAC against Pioneers Vorarlberg, which ended a three-game losing streak. KAC currently holds third place in the standings.

Salzburg enters the matchup with momentum, having won four of their last five league games, including a 6-1 victory over Fehérvár AV19. While KAC won the first meeting of the season 7-1, Salzburg has won their last four away games against KAC. KAC expects a strong performance from Salzburg and aims to reduce turnovers and improve vertical play. The KAC roster features the potential return of Jan Muršak, while new signing Mareks Mitens is expected to make his debut.
