EC Pinheiros faces Caxias Basquete in LDB 2026 finals

Esporte Clube Pinheiros will begin its campaign in the decisive phase of the 2026 Brazilian Interclub Basketball Championship – Basketball Development League (LDB) against Caxias Basquete. The match is scheduled for September 14 at 3:15 p.m. at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium in São Paulo.

Caxias Basquete enters the matchup as the only team to have defeated Pinheiros during the first phase of the competition. Pinheiros, the defending champion with six titles in 14 editions, is led by coach Vitor Galvani and features young players such as Lucas Thor and Lucca Boracina.

The LDB Gold Series final stage includes eight teams: EC Pinheiros, São José Basketball, Sesi Franca, and Caxias Basquete in Group C, and Paulistano, Pato Basquete, Corinthians, and Minas Tênis Clube in Group D. While the championship matches will take place at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, games for fifth and seventh place will be held at the Corinthians Mini Gymnasium.
