Ecatepec authorities arrest alleged criminal leader Miguel “N”, alias “El Miky”

Mexican federal and municipal authorities have arrested Miguel “N”, known as “El Miky”, in Ecatepec, State of Mexico. Identified as a priority target and the alleged leader of the FOMAC group (Fuerza Organizada de Miembros de la Comunidad), he is accused of being a major generator of violence in the region.

Investigations link the 35-year-old to various crimes, including homicide, extortion, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, and the illegal seizure of property. Authorities also allege involvement in the theft of water through the illegal invasion of potable water networks for commercial purposes.

During a coordinated operation involving the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), and local police, officials seized firearms, communication equipment, and documents linked to the “Hermandad Juárez” and the Union of Syndicates and National Organizations (USON). The arrest is considered a significant blow to the criminal structures operating in the eastern Valley of Mexico.
