Ecatepec mayor Azucena Cisneros opens repaved streets in Rinconada de Aragón

The municipal government of Ecatepec invested more than 4 million pesos to repave three streets—Jilgueros, Quetzal and Jacamac—in the Rinconada de Aragón neighborhood. The works, carried out with city funds, also included park rehabilitation, lighting upgrades, tree pruning and the refurbishment of a former garbage dump into a 7,000‑square‑meter sports court. The project is expected to benefit over 6,500 residents by improving mobility, safety and public amenities, and is presented as part of Mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss’s broader strategy to address long‑standing urban lag in the municipality.

Cisneros highlighted that 70 % of the municipality’s recent works are financed internally and urged citizens to continue paying contributions to sustain such infrastructure improvements.
