Ecatepec officials inaugurate renovated Benito Juárez street
Mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss has inaugurated the Benito Juárez street in the El Árbol neighborhood of Ecatepec, Mexico. The 512-meter road had been in a state of disrepair with potholes for more than 20 years, despite its connection to the major López Portillo highway.
The renovation project involved laying 2,718 square meters of asphalt and included the installation of streetlights, curbs, drains, and storm drains. Additionally, 405 ornamental plants and fruit trees were planted along the route.
According to local officials, the improvements directly benefit 1,300 residents and indirectly benefit 4,000 people. Public Works Director Carlos Ramírez Brassetti noted that local residents participated in the construction works.
