Ecatepec police reunite lost elderly woman with her family

Ecatepec municipal police assisted a 72-year-old woman, identified as Doña Guadalupe, who was found disoriented near the Ciudad Azteca Metro station. The woman had left her home in the Iztapalapa borough to sell drawing notebooks, but after taking public transportation, she became lost and was unable to find her way back as night fell.

Authorities coordinated with the Célula de Búsqueda de Personas Desaparecidas and paramedics to ensure her safety. After confirming she was not listed on missing persons platforms, officials used data tracking and social media to locate her residence in the Unidad Habitacional Cuitláhuac. She was safely reunited with her family.
