Ecatepec to begin land tenure regularization in La Palma Tulpetlac

The government of Ecatepec has announced the launch of a land tenure regularization program in the La Palma Tulpetlac neighborhood. This initiative is part of an agreement signed with the National Institute for Sustainable Soil (INSUS).

Mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss informed residents during a community assembly that a dedicated service window will be established to facilitate legal documentation processes. The program aims to provide legal certainty to families living in irregular settlements, protecting their property assets.

According to Eduardo Nava, Director of Urban Development, La Palma will serve as a pilot project. The administration plans to expand the regularization efforts to other areas, including the Ejido de San Cristóbal, Guadalupe Victoria, Santa María Tulpetlac, and Laguna Chiconautla. Additionally, the local government committed to addressing public service deficits and implementing urban art projects in the community.
