Ecatepec to host “El Viento Nos Une” cultural festival

The second edition of the “El Viento Nos Une” Cultural Festival will take place in Ecatepec from October 28 to November 2. The event will feature over 200 artists across 18 different venues throughout the municipality, with all presentations offered free of charge.

Headlining the lineup is Julieta Venegas, alongside other notable performers such as Tex Tex, Patita de Perro, Azuki, Banda Bostik, the Orquesta Nacional de Jazz, and Nina Galindo. The festival aims to provide large stages for local talent, integrating community members into activities such as an inaugural parade, the creation of a monumental offering, and traditional pan de muerto workshops.

The diverse programming includes various genres, including jazz, hip hop, rock urbano, reguetón, circus, cabaret, and stand-up comedy. Additionally, the festival will include a tribute to singer-songwriter Gabino Palomares, who was originally scheduled to participate before his death on September 30.
