Monterey Car Week 2026 features exclusive hypercar debuts and luxury auctions

Monterey Car Week 2026 features a diverse array of high-end automotive reveals, auctions, and custom builds. Notable debuts include the Eccentrica V12 Roadster, a roofless restomod of the Lamborghini Diablo featuring a 550 hp naturally aspirated V12 and over 3,500 bespoke components. Hennessey has also introduced the Blackbird, an analog-focused hypercar with a 6.2-liter V8 and manual transmission.

Customization specialists are also prominent. Brabus has delivered the first Bodo V12 GT, a 1,000 hp bespoke coupe based on the Aston Martin Vanquish, to Dubai. Marc Philipp Gemballa unveiled the Marsien GT, a track-focused Porsche 911-based model with 830 hp. Additionally, Aston Martin's Q division showcased three unique DB12 S models inspired by 1951 Le Mans racers.

The event includes significant auction items, such as a low-mileage Ferrari 458 Speciale expected to reach $1.2 million, and various vintage motorcycles at the Mecum Monterey Auction. Collectors are also finding rare memorabilia, ranging from Michael Schumacher-signed helmets to mid-century Porsche promotional ceramics.
