Eccentrica unveils V12 Roadster restomod based on Lamborghini Diablo

San Marino-based boutique restomod firm Eccentrica has unveiled the V12 Roadster, a heavily re-engineered open-top version of the 1990s Lamborghini Diablo. The project aims to modernize the classic supercar by combining its iconic wedge-shaped design with contemporary materials and performance standards.

Led by former Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer Maurizio Reggiani, the transformation involves over 3,500 new components. The vehicle features a carbon-fiber body and a carbon-reinforced steel chassis. It is powered by a tuned 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 550 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gated manual transmission.

The Roadster is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and maintains a top speed of 208 mph. The vehicle is scheduled to make its public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, with expected pricing exceeding £1 million.
