Ece Güner resigns from political roles following Ahbap investigation

Ece Güner, an attorney arrested as part of an investigation into the Ahbap Association, has announced her resignation from politics. She has stepped down from her roles as an advisor to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and as a coordinator for the Presidential Candidate Office.

Güner denied all allegations related to the investigation, stating she has no connection to the Ahbap Association files. She claimed she was victimized by Haluk Levent, asserting that her good intentions were exploited during a vulnerable period. Güner further alleged that Levent pressured her into lending him money intended for her home purchase through various false narratives.
