E‑Challan Traffic Enforcement Expands in Pakistan and India

In India, a similar shift toward digital traffic enforcement is underway, with cameras, speed sensors and handheld devices recording violations and issuing e‑challans to vehicle owners, often through text messages. States such as Telangana have widely adopted the system, leading to an increase in fines issued and a gradual change in driver behaviour as authorities move away from manual ticketing toward technology‑led enforcement.
