Echo and the Bunnymen announce new album ‘Apples for Isaac’

Echo and the Bunnymen have released ‘Take Me by the Hand’, the third single from their upcoming album ‘Apples for Isaac’. This marks the band’s first album of original material in 12 years, following 2014’s ‘Meteorites’. The new record is scheduled for release on September 18 via BMG.

The album features significant contributions from the late Clem Burke, the legendary drummer of Blondie, who performed on ten of the eleven tracks before his passing. Vocalist Ian McCulloch produced and mixed the album alongside Alan Moulder and Andrea Wright.

McCulloch described the new work as one of the band’s most complete achievements, noting that the sound aligns closely with his original creative vision. The album was primarily recorded at Doghouse Studio near Henley and includes various tracks such as ‘Brussels is Haunted’ and ‘The Unstoppable Force’.
