Residential architecture and home transformations in the Czech Republic

Various residential architectural projects and home transformations are highlighted within the Czech Republic.

In Prague's Hostivaře, a modern two-story functionalist villa has been constructed on the site of a former building that was removed due to poor technical condition. Designed by architect Jana Klečková, the 330 m² residence features a clear separation between social and private zones, including a spacious living area that connects to a garden terrace.

In another instance, a family has been undergoing a long-term reconstruction of a stone house dating back to 1850. The project, which has lasted over a decade, involves preserving historical elements like vaulted ceilings while adapting the space to the needs of a large family.

Additionally, Margit Slimáková has transitioned from living in Prague to a wooden house situated in a green environment, featuring an edible garden, an orchard, and a private forest.
