ECO Rally Cat Central to debut as efficiency-focused motorsport event

The first edition of the ECO Rally Cat Central, known as the Trofeu Circutor 2026, is scheduled to take place on October 23 and 24. Organized by Escuderia Gironella in collaboration with Circutor and supported by the Catalan Automobile Federation and the Tarradell City Council, the event focuses on ecological values, energy efficiency, and technological innovation.

Unlike traditional speed-based races, this ECO Rally utilizes electric and hybrid vehicles. The primary objective is to achieve the lowest possible energy consumption through efficient driving while adhering to standard traffic regulations. The competition is limited to 45 vehicles, and the specific route, consisting of eight regularity stages, will remain secret until the start of the event.
