ECOdolomitesGT electric vehicle rally returns to the Dolomites
The ECOdolomitesGT electric vehicle rally will return to the Dolomites from October 16 to 18, 2026. Organized in the Trentino region, the event features a 530 km course designed to test the efficiency, precision, and energy management of electric cars.
The competition will serve as a valid event for the International FIA ecoRally Cup and the ACI-Sport Italian Alternative Energy Championship, acting as the final test for the international championship. The route is divided into four sectors and three stages, passing through locations such as Predazzo, Moena, and Agordo.
Approximately 320 km of the course will consist of “Regularity & Consumption Stages.” In these special tests, crews must adhere to predetermined average speeds while attempting to minimize energy consumption. To ensure fairness among different models, the competition uses WLTP homologation values to account for varying vehicle efficiencies. Participating vehicles must be road-legal, manufactured after January 1, 2020, and capable of handling at least 300 km of mountain driving.
