Ecoembes, Inetum, and Tetra Pak advance packaging digitalization and sustainability

Ecoembes and Inetum have entered into an alliance to develop and integrate interoperable digital solutions aimed at improving the management, declaration, and traceability of packaging in Spain. The partnership focuses on connecting Ecoembes' systems with Inetum's client platforms, including SAP environments, to facilitate the Annual Packaging Declaration (DAE) and reduce administrative burdens associated with Spanish regulatory compliance.

In Mexico, Tetra Pak is promoting sustainable manufacturing through the use of artificial intelligence and automation. During the ForoMX 2026, the company presented the Tetra Pak Factory OS, a platform designed to integrate industrial operational data with business decision-making. The implementation of these intelligent monitoring systems is estimated to increase industrial equipment efficiency by up to 20%, reduce raw material waste by 45%, and potentially decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 47% and water footprints by 45%.
