EcoFlow and Tesla launch new domestic battery storage solutions

EcoFlow has launched its new Stream 5000 series of domestic batteries, featuring 5 kWh models available for pre-order in the United Kingdom starting at £1,599. The series includes the Stream 5000, which features an integrated solar inverter for direct connection to photovoltaic panels, and the Stream AC 5000, which relies on the electrical grid. The system is modular and can be expanded up to 90 kWh. The manufacturer offers a 10-year warranty and a lifespan of 10,000 cycles.

In a separate development, Tesla has introduced the Powerwall 3P to the Portuguese market. This version is specifically designed for three-phase electrical installations, which are common in European residential infrastructures. The unit provides 13.5 kWh of capacity and includes a hybrid inverter capable of a continuous power output of up to 15.4 kW. This single-unit solution replaces the previous requirement of stacking three separate single-phase units to achieve three-phase power, simplifying installation and space requirements.
