Ecojet to resume flights to Sucre and Tarija in September

Ecojet S.A. will resume flight operations to Sucre and Tarija starting September 14, adding 10 new weekly frequencies to its national network. The airline will operate six weekly flights to Sucre, which has not seen Ecojet service for two years, and four weekly flights to Tarija, which has been without the carrier for six years.

Minister of Public Works Mauricio Zamora and Ecojet General Manager Luiggi Durán announced the plan, noting that the return follows discussions regarding open-sky policies to strengthen national integration and regional economic development. The expansion aims to provide more travel alternatives for families, businesses, and tourists while helping to stimulate domestic tourism and manage transport costs. The airline also indicated plans to incorporate a third aircraft to support its operations.
