Ecolab reports 927 billion liters of water conserved in 2025

Ecolab has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing significant environmental and economic impacts achieved through its water, hygiene, and infection prevention services. Globally, the company generated US$ 12.9 billion in value for its clients, conserved approximately 927 billion liters of water, and prevented the emission of 4.7 million metric tons of greenhouse gases. Additionally, its solutions helped protect 1.7 billion people from foodborne illnesses and infections.

In Brazil, Ecolab’s operations focused on helping various sectors—including food and beverage, mining, energy, and sanitation—reduce natural resource consumption and mitigate operational risks. Brazilian clients achieved an estimated water savings of 1.38 billion liters, representing a financial saving of approximately R$ 15.6 million. These results were driven by digital technologies and advanced monitoring tools, such as the 3D TRASAR™ system and the ECOLAB3D™ platform, which provide real-time tracking of water quality and usage in industrial processes.
