Ecology Australia hires casual research assistants as Honours ecology degree launches

Ecology Australia, the longest‑running ecological consultancy in Victoria, is recruiting casual research assistants for field surveys across Victoria and south‑eastern Australia. Applicants must be physically fit, hold a Victorian driver’s licence, be available for the spring and summer survey season, and be prepared to travel and stay away from home for up to 10 days, including night surveys.

A four‑year Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a major in Ecology is being promoted, covering plants, animals, marine ecology, climate change and natural‑resource management. The program includes extensive fieldwork, data analysis and industry placements, preparing graduates for roles in agriculture, energy, mining, development, climate adaptation and conservation.
